Welcoming in Christmas…

This year it’s a quiet one for us. I haven’t shared much of my holiday decor because I made a conscious effort to just enjoy the decorating process, count my blessings and spend time with my family.

Here’s a simple collection of little sparkly moments in our home.

My wish is that you find yourself surrounded by peace, love and joy this Christmas.

We Go Slow…

Sometimes we wait a week or two and enjoy our tree without lights and ornaments, and once the holidays are over we strip it and enjoy it bare for a few weeks more. (Swipe!)

Since I’m only using fresh greens from outside this year, I’ve waited til now to start decorating. I’m excited to go simple, natural and embrace the spirit of my Cape Cod surroundings. I’ll share progress in stories!❤️💚✨

Happy December!
I’m starting to get ready for Christmas and I’m looking back at my own holiday home through the years.

I’m sharing my favorite Christmas, the one where I used fresh greens from the woods, and created a winter woodland vibe inside.

Swipe through and step into our front hall, then straight through the “woodland” to the beach view beyond.

With the flood of holiday decor out there these days, I find myself most inspired, again by the simple and natural.

So this year I’m leaning into our Cape Cod surroundings, I’m starting to forage for interesting greens and branches right here in my yard…

Yesterday was spectacular on Cape Cod.✨
It was the perfect day to work in here and I took full advantage!

I opened the doors to let in the most beautiful warm breeze (and sunshine!) added some new layers and sat down right here in time for sunset!🥂
