It’s rare February 14th is warm here in the northeast so for us Valentine’s Day traditions are rooted in cozy, warm moments together. Valentine’s Day is an opportunity for us to create a memory, set a tradition in place, or just enjoy each other’s company. Our celebration is as simple as enjoying a good bottle of wine with a home-made dinner, a few good chocolates afterwards, and watching a movie together!

Read a Book Together, ALOUD
Most of us were obligated to read the literary classics in high school. Reading them as adults is a whole different thing. Taking time to read a book together is actually really fun. Instead of binge-watching a series we will often choose a book and settle into our library chairs, taking turns reading out loud to each other. One of our all-time favorite books to read was THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO. Written in the mid 1800s, it remains the romantic, adventurous, ultimate fairy tale. It takes a bit of focus to follow but we absolutely LOVED this book, and I highly recommend it! For us there is still something about touching and turning the pages of a book that we love, and we love collecting classics for our library, though I have included the kindle version below as well!
